# Third-party notices Versions below are the ones actually installed on H Studio by `npm install` on 2026-11-03 and recorded in `package-lock.json` (with registry integrity hashes). Licenses were read from each installed package's `package.json` / lockfile entry. ## Runtime dependencies shipped in the browser bundle | Package | Version | License | Source | Use | | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | | iztro | 2.6.4 | MIT | https://github.com/SylarLong/iztro | Zi Wei natal chart and daily horoscope | | lunar-typescript | 1.8.6 | MIT | https://github.com/6tail/lunar-typescript | Lunar calendar, pillars, solar terms, almanac 宜/忌, hours, directions | | lunar-lite | 0.2.8 | MIT | https://github.com/SylarLong/lunar-lite | iztro dependency | | dayjs | 1.11.23 | MIT | https://github.com/iamkun/dayjs | iztro dependency | | i18next | 23.16.8 | MIT | https://github.com/i18next/i18next | iztro dependency | | @babel/runtime | 7.29.10 | MIT | https://github.com/babel/babel | i18next dependency | | react | 19.1.0 | MIT | https://github.com/facebook/react | UI | | react-dom | 19.1.0 | MIT | https://github.com/facebook/react | UI | | scheduler | 0.26.0 | MIT | https://github.com/facebook/react | react-dom dependency | Copyright notices: iztro — Copyright (c) 2023 All Contributors; lunar-typescript — Copyright (c) 2020 6tail; lunar-lite — Copyright (c) 2023 Sylar; dayjs — Copyright (c) 2018-present, iamkun; i18next — Copyright (c) 2024 i18next; @babel/runtime — Copyright (c) 2014-present Sebastian McKenzie and other contributors; react, react-dom, scheduler — Copyright (c) Meta Platforms, Inc. and affiliates. The exact notice text is in each package's `LICENSE` file under `node_modules/`; preserve it when redistributing. This app does not use iztro's hosted services or any paid API. ## Phase 2 (ZW-07): sources used, no new dependencies No packages were added or changed in Phase 2. - **iztro 2.6.4 data (MIT, Copyright (c) 2023 All Contributors):** `src/domain/settings.ts` `DEFAULT_MUTAGENS` restates the default 十干四化 table from `node_modules/iztro/lib/data/heavenlyStems.js`, using its zh-CN star names. It is passed to the engine as an explicit per-chart config, and a test checks it against engine output for every year stem. The 庚 "阳武同阴" variant is a commonly listed alternative; it is also listed in Renhuai123/ziwei-doushu `lib/ziwei/school-config.ts` at commit `a600484a49255039d0725f1ba9e11ca81a948f97` (code license MIT). That source was consulted for comparison only; no code, data or lecture text was copied. - **Equation of time:** the formula is from the NOAA Global Monitoring Laboratory, "General Solar Position Calculations" (https://gml.noaa.gov/grad/solcalc/solareqns.PDF), a US-government publication. The implementation in `src/domain/solar.ts` is original. NOAA presents the formula as approximate, and no accuracy bound is claimed. - **Timezone offsets** come from the platform's IANA tz database via `Intl` (Node/ICU in tests, the browser's own data in the app). - **Glossary and chart-note wording** (`src/domain/glossary.ts`, `src/domain/rules.ts`) are this app's own short text: pattern names are traditional terms, and the explanations are original. No books or lecture corpora were reproduced. ## Phase 3: sources used, no new dependencies No packages were added in Phase 3. - **iztro 2.6.4 locale data (MIT, Copyright (c) 2023 All Contributors):** the Traditional Chinese display (`src/hant.ts`) imports iztro's own `zh-CN` and `zh-TW` locale tables, so star, palace and transformation names use iztro's terms. The character map and curated phrases are this app's own. - **Fonts and images:** no third-party fonts or images are shipped. The icons and the Open Graph image are generated by this repository's own scripts. - This notice file is published with the site at `/third-party-notices.txt`. ## Build and test tooling (not shipped) Vite 6.4.5, @vitejs/plugin-react 4.6.0, @playwright/test 1.64.1 (Apache-2.0), TypeScript 5.8.3, Vitest 5.1.0, jsdom 26.1.0, Testing Library (dom 10.4.0, react 16.3.0, user-event 14.6.1, jest-dom 6.6.3), @types/node 24.0.0, @types/react 19.1.8, @types/react-dom 19.1.6 and their transitive packages. Lockfile license tally before adding Playwright (178 installed packages, including optional platform binaries): MIT 210 entries, ISC 8, Apache-2.0 5, BSD-2-Clause 2, BSD-3-Clause 2, CC-BY-4.0 1 (browser-compat data used only at build time), MIT-0 1; @playwright/test and playwright (Apache-2.0) were added afterwards for the browser suite. None of the non-MIT packages is in the browser bundle. Quality iteration (2026-11-03): `@axe-core/playwright` 4.14.0 and its `axe-core` 4.14.0 dependency are locked development-only test tooling under MPL-2.0. Sources and notices: https://github.com/dequelabs/axe-core-npm and https://github.com/dequelabs/axe-core. They are used by the browser test suite, not included in the production entry point or browser bundle. Lighthouse 13.6.0 was installed temporarily without saving for the independent lab audit; it is not a runtime or locked project dependency. ## MIT License text The following permission notice applies to every MIT package above, each with its own copyright notice. > Permission is hereby granted, free of charge, to any person obtaining a copy > of this software and associated documentation files (the "Software"), to deal > in the Software without restriction, including without limitation the rights > to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and/or sell > copies of the Software, and to permit persons to whom the Software is > furnished to do so, subject to the following conditions: > > The above copyright notice and this permission notice shall be included in all > copies or substantial portions of the Software. > > THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR > IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, > FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT.
